Out at the camp pond, there was one thing that grabbed everyone’s attention right away—the giant inflatable blob. But before Jazz and I ever got launched into the air, we ended up on a paddle boat adventure with Kristen, our hyphen leader, and Jenny, Jazz’s mom. Somehow, they convinced us to climb in with them, and let’s just say it was a mess from the start. The paddle boat only worked on my side, and it felt like we were sinking—very slowly, but definitely sinking.
